It feels like just yesterday I was excitedly storytelling about all of my “firsts” in Spain, but now I am sadly experiencing all of my “lasts”. I’ve been lucky enough to meet a variety of amazing people from all over the world – from my host family, to coworkers, and all of the people I’ve crossed paths with along the way. Saying goodbye was a difficult task. It’s hard to believe that it’s already time to leave.

Looking back, it’s easy to see lot of growth during my time here. I’ve become adjusted to a different culture while using a completely different language (which has improved my Spanish skills more than I could have possibly imagined). I also successfully completed my first professional experience. From this I’ve gained flexibility, patience, and a more global mindset. The past few months have easily been the experience of a lifetime, and I can’t wait to share my experiences with all of my friends and friends upon returning to the United States.
Muchas gracias for reading my blogs and keeping up with my life while in España! Hasta luego.
