Industry Analysis

After two months of working at Meetingsbooker.com, I feel that I am now accurately able to analyze their industry and do my best to explain their product line, competitors and why they are of interest to a professional in business.

Meetingsbooker.com offers its customers access to 70,000 meetings and events rooms across the world.  Their website is easy to use – you simply log on, look up meeting rooms in a certain city, then refine your search criteria based upon your meeting size and requirements.  You can then book the meeting room right on their website.  So basically their product is their website which gives their clients easy access to booking meeting rooms.  In regards to their competitors – there are few.  Meetingsbooker has diversified themselves from their competitors by building up a large number of unique add ons to their website.  Unlike most booking websites, Meetingsbooker.com allows people to book meeting rooms anywhere entirely online.  Their competitors only liaison the client and the meeting space, while Meetingsbooker.com cuts out the communication factor between the client and venue.  This has allowed them to get the large niche of customers that want to use a fast and easy platform to quickly reserve a meeting or event space.

Why would business professionals use Meetingsbooker.com? Well, its the fastest way to book a meeting or event room in the world, and they have locations in over 50 countries.  Meetingsbooker.com has also partnered with all of the largest hotel and conference centre chains in Europe – meaning all of those meeting rooms can only be booked through Meetingsbooker.com.  Furthermore, Meetingsbooker.com provides themselves on offering a lower rate than all of their competitors, which allows them to offer a fast, practical and affordable room hire rate to all of their customers.

Meetingsbooker.com is in the works of additional partnerships, however this time they have their sights set on American hotel chains and conference centers.  I have little double that within the next decade they will be the biggest player in the online meeting and events space booking market.
