The North Remembers

This weekend was my first weekend to travel around Ireland so the girls and I went up to Northern Ireland! Madison, Annie, Kelty, and I found this great tour to go see the Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle (the Greyjoy castle from Game of Thrones), Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge, and the Dark Hedges (the King’s Road from Game of Thrones). All these sights and a great tour guide for only 40 euro!

These sights were absolutely breath taking. Here are some pictures:

This first picture is of the Dunluce Castle (Greyjoy Castle from GoT). This was just a quick stop to take a picture before getting back on the bus to continue our journey. Funny story: this castle has also been my background on my computer for the past month from when I googled “pictures of Ireland” to get excited for this trip. I didn’t realize this was the castle until we got home that night so we had a good laugh about that. Now I know!

Our next stop was Giant’s Causeway. Giant’s Causeway is an area on the cost with thousands of rocks, shaped like stairs, that were a result of an ancient volcanic eruption. This was a three mile walk, but absolutely worth it for these amazing pictures.

I have so many more pictures so I will add more in the next blog post!

Stay tuned! xoxo
