More and Moher Cliffs

Today was an amazing day to view the beauty of Ireland. Although we have been in the country for about a week now, we have yet to see almost the “cliche Ireland” we were expecting to see. After a few hours of driving through rolling, green hills, we arrived at the Cliffs of Moher. Knowing that the Harry Potter franchise picked this site to do filming speakers numbers for how great it is. I’m not sure what I was expecting before going, but it definitely exceeded what I envisioned.

Going somewhere like the Cliffs of Moher is one of those locations that give a realization about your place in the world. Viewing how small everyone looks from one end of the Cliffs to the other is mind-boggling. I can’t imagine the first people to discover something so breathtaking. To view something so stunning in nature is an amazing gift that I hope I can return to.

After traveling to the Cliffs of Moher, we then traveled out to a seaside town called Galway. I loved being in this city as well because it was similar to what I expected of Ireland. It was developed with several shops, but at the same time, it had a lot of the classic Irish culture. I wish I could spend more time in Galway to expereince the pubs and lively people. While in Galway we ate classic fish and chips and then went to several shops. There was a little vendor stand hiding away in an alley that had several painters and crafters. There was a lot of life to be seen in Galway and I intend to return if I visit Ireland again.
