Hello! This is my second blog post regarding the Haller Global Honors Fellowship and it has been very informational to say the least. Working with others, collaborating with teammates, and hearing from guest speakers has been incredibly beneficial for my upcoming first-year. The amount of communication, creativity and flexibility required in this fellowship allow for me to leverage myself into a more entrepreneurial mindset.

In the past year, with covid-19 and some of my own personal challenges, communication can sometimes be difficult. It can be easier not to talk to people, but networking and communication are certainly key to the business world. By using these sessions to my advantage, I can network and communicate with others more efficiently.

Through this project my team and I are working on, we have had to brainstorm and create which pushes our self-reliance and initiative. The critical thinking required in the project , along with the vast amounts of research, further pushes my entrepreneurial mindset.

Being flexible and taking the time to do this fellowship is also a way I am currently developing the mindset of an entrepreneur. Throughout life there will always be something important that requires your attention, and taking part in this opportunity helps with time-management and other important qualities required in the business world.

The use of communication is an important aspect of being a businessperson, and in almost all other walks of life. Being able to critically think and be creative can assist me in the business world, and in the classroom. Being flexible and managing time will always help to succeed in projects, exams and assignments. In summation, leveraging in on these opportunities will help to make me a better student with a successful business mindset!
