Dublin’s Docklands area is such a good fit for large tech companies because of the low interest rates charged by the Irish government. The technology companies that have headquarters in Dublin (Facebook, Google, Twitter) generate billions of dollars per year and are able to capitalize on their revenue by operating in a city with low interest rates. The affordability of operating in Dublin brings new talent to the area and ultimately serves to accelerate economic growth in the city. 

Living in a place like the Docklands 

I could definitely see myself living in a place like the Docklands in the future! The general Boston Area is very similar to the Docklands in the sense that there is both a strong business atmosphere and social opportunities for networking and living life.
